The Past

The website was created in its early form in 2008 after we decided that there should be a website that not only provided details of waste and recycling services, for example looking for a 'commercial recycling service' but also suppliers to the waste and recycling industry, for example the 'commercial recycling company' looking for baling wire

So www.wastedirectory.us was born, the many hours of sleepless nights trawling through the internet and journals trying to find up to date content and up-loading it on to the directory seems a long time ago now and we drafted in a lot of help from willing and not so willing helpers (thank you Mum!)

The Present

So now we now have our directory with over 12,000 companies listed!

Our philosophy is to charge low listing/advertising rates, currently at $99 per year, the reason for this is simple. There are many major National corporations in the waste industry employing 1000's of people with huge advertising and marketing budgets, however there are also 1000's of smaller independent and family companies providing an equally important service.

We are very keen not to price the smaller independent operators out of the directory or give the large nationals higher profile on the site just because they have the resources available, as a result we have a well balanced site providing our customers (and indeed your customers) with an excellent choice of service providers

If your company is not listed on Waste Directory, simply send us an email and we will let you know the simple information we need to create your advert. Once you are happy with it we will send you an invoice through PayPal so it is nice and simple!

The Future

In the future we are looking to completely redevelop the website, enabling clients to upload and design their own advert and to manage it through their own control panel. You will also be able to check your stats through your control panel giving you some great data such as how many views, click through etc exciting stuff!!

For the site user there will be a powerful search facility by product or service and location enabling them to filter the listings to meet their exact needs

We hope you like what we are trying to achieve here, the waste and recycling industry has changed beyond recognition over the last 10 years or so, with continuing improvements in technology the next 10 years are sure to be equally exciting
